ISLAMABAD, July 27 (Report by: Saleem Mehsud): Federal police has made extra ordinary increase in the security of Federal Minister for Interior Affairs Rehman Malik after receiving new life threats from the terrorists involved in the terrorists activities in the country.
According to well placed sources in the federal police, Rehman Malik received the latest threats following the measures took by the government to ensure the complete writ of the state after the target killing incidents in Karachi and suicide blast in front of Information Minister K-P Mian Iftikhar Hussain.
Sources said that the high-ups of the interior ministry and the federal police thoroughly discussed the situation and make a new security plan for the interior minister.
The old security and police constables were changed while the commandos and new Elite Force ‘jawans’ were deployed to ensure the Rehman Malik security sources added.
The rangers’ men who are the part of interior minister’s security squad are also directed to keep themselves alert during the duty timing.
